Summit: A Night for Life and Dignity

On Tuesday, January 16 teens from the Albuquerque & Santa Fe area we will gather at St. Anne’s parish in Santa Fe for a night of reflection on the Church’s social teaching, prayer, and Confession. Dynamic speakers, music, Eucharistic Adoration, Mass and Confession will prepare the youth for the next day’s event. This is an overnight event, lodging will take place at St. Anne’s parish. There will be chaperones from Church of the Incarnation present during this event.

This event is an opportunity for the youth to participate in the Sanctity of  Life and Unity Day the following day, January 17. Sanctity of Life and Unity Day begins with Mass at the Basilica in Santa Fe. Mass will begin at 12:00 noon concelebrated by the three bishops in New Mexico. Upon the conclusion of the Mass, the youth will march prayerfully and peacefully to the New Mexico State Capital and engage in continued prayer and peaceful discussion with New Mexico legislators on all aspects of the dignity of life from conception to natural death.

There is no cost for this event, lodging and meals will be provided.
